May Kit from the Scrapbook Nook
My local scrapbook store hosts a monthly kit and contest. They are $5 and all you need to do is use some of everything in the kit on your project. You can enter cards, tags, layouts, minis etc.. They're pretty loose with the rules you're allowed to alter any of the products to fit your needs just as long as you used them. This is what was left after I made my layout.
My Mother's Day Gift to my Mom
This is the fourth year that I've made these calendars for my Mom on Mother's Day. It's a 6x6 flip desk calendar from Stampin' Up. What makes it so cool is the preforated pages. When you're done with the calendar you can remove the scrapbook pages and put them into a 6x6 album. If you need a great SU Demonstrator check out Jenny's blog and website. http://www.lakeshorestamping.com http://www.stampinup.net/esuite/home/lakeshorestamping
Woo Hoo! I Won!
Back in March I entered my first scrapbooking contest. The Scrapbook Nook offers monthly kits which I used to create a 12x12 layout. I got an email a couple of weeks ago that I won. I was sooo excited! Customers that come into the store vote on the projects. I won a $10 gift certificate which I bought the May kit with and a few other goodies. Here is the layout.
